There are six easy steps to clean the rug at home:

Step 1: You have to vacuum the front and back of the rug very well.

Step 2: Make a solution with shampoo, water, and a little vinegar in a bucket.

Step 3: Use a standard deck scrub brush and the solution you made, scrape it back and front of the rug.

Step 4: Prepare another solution by adding 50% DIwater and 50% fabric softener, and pour it into a clean spray bottle. Spray the solution all over the rug for better odor and safest.

Step 5: After you have done steps 3 and 4, put the rug under direct sunlight. If it is not possible, it's better to put the rug inside a bedroom or guest room, using a heater to dry the rug.

Step 6: At the end when the rug is completely dry, you should brush the rug in the direction of the pile then with a comb trying to brush the fringes too.
